The Lake Blue Ice Glacier 3000

The Lake Blue Ice

Accessible in just a few minutes from the bottom station of the Ice Express chairlift via the secured Glacier Walk trail, the Lake Blue Ice offers a unique opportunity to observe the glacier's natural evolution up close.

Formed by melting snow and ice, this glacial lake changes continuously throughout the season. Its size, shape and water level evolve naturally, making every visit a different experience. At the beginning of the melting season, usually in June, its waters take on stunning turquoise colours.

Like all glacial lakes, the Lake Blue Ice can drain suddenly at any time. For safety reasons, swimming is strictly prohibited.
